Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her most well-known role was playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey was a part-time performer for ten years in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept her part in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and was a regular character on Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in the television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar condition in an interview that she provided an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the best actors under the age of 20 in September of 2014.
