Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long. She soon relocated to Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite small roles, she discovered her passion to act. In 2001, she moved to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap-opera as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast for her first role in a series in The Mountain The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded a Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a role on CSI Miami. She starred as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano's show was pulled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano's career began at age seven, after her child's sitter took the girl to an audition. Out of more than 1,000 applicants her name was picked for the audition as one of four. Milano has appeared in ads both on Broadway and television, including the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
